Spoilin'
One of the best things about being an Aunt is shopping for my niece. I love buying her cute things, useful things, and especially things that will help in her learning and development. Of course, when she was a newborn, it was all about the cute and fuzzy stuff, as well as the keepsakes like a cross-stitched work with her birth date and weight (Rhyming...good times).
Before Lexi was born, to buy baby gifts was part of the preparation for her arrival. Looking in the baby section at stores, adoring the tiny little outfits, and cute little bath towels, and just imagining what that baby-on-the-way would look like with such things. Lexi got tons of blankets and stuffed animals, and especially adorable outfits, and not surprisingly, she looked absolutely adorable in all of them.
It's so hard not to spoil them. I mean, don't they need another stuffed animal, or another toy? I think so. I really do.
