Ladies

I love ladybugs. They're so delicate, bright, and non-threatening. One thing I do often in the summer is rescue ladybugs (and other bugs) from drowning in our back yard pool. A seemingly tiny task, inconsequential, but I enjoy it. I've been finding it harder and harder to kill or let bugs die in the past year or so, I think it might be a result of losing so many pets at once. Anyway. ladybugs are great to photograph too...
